Military personnel, veterans & first responders often experience high levels of stress before, during, and after their careers of service. Through alternative therapy, we work with you to help you re-establish balance and purpose by restoring you to a calm and fulfilling life.
A personalized session to help address underlying stressors that may be affecting your daily life, decisions, transitions, and more! This alternative therapy approach is often helpful as an alternative, or supplement to, more traditional talk-therapy or coaching methods.
Our bodies and minds are intricate systems. Often, exposure to traumatic events can cause us to experience sadness, fear, anger, restlessness, or feeling detached from other people. Some individuals have strong reactions to something as ordinary as a loud noise or an accidental touch. Each person is unique and the effects of stressors on our minds and bodies can be wide-ranging. We work with veterans & first responders, using alternative therapy to resolve stress, restore balance, and provide techniques to help you create new mindsets and belief systems for a healthier body, mind and spirit. The ultimate goal is for you to be free and empowered to reconnect with feelings of peace, calm, safety, joy and fulfillment.
Transitioning careers from active duty to civilian status can be challenging. Marla uses an extensive background in business development and training to provide you with tools to gain more personal insight into what you really want. She is skilled in combining multiple modalities to help you free yourself from the limitations of fear, anxiety or worry. Whether your goal is a career change, to start a new business or to pursue an education, Marla can tailor an approach to help you manifest what you want and help you have confidence to move forward and create a fun and fulfilling experience.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) have been approved by the US Veterans Administration as an alternative therapy since 2017 and are being used with clients suffering from PTSD, depression, anxiety, pain and other stressors.
Marla has been practicing EFT since 2012 and has chosen to become a practitioner and instructor of Free-Me™EFT, a specialized method that not only helps to release negative emotions, but affirms and expands positive ones and helps restore healthier thoughts.
We realize that many of our first responders experience not only the stress and grief that can come from triage care and healing others, but also experience a unique set of stressors from serving during a global pandemic. Emotional Freedom Techniques, ThetaHealing®, and guided meditation techniques are just some of the tools we help our clients learn to restore feelings of peace, calm, safety, and fulfillment in a high-stress environment.
